Who I am. Over 15 years in game operations drilled one habit into me: always put the user's pain points first — both what they say and what sits behind the numbers. For the past six years I've gone deep into product work, from business analysis to project management. I'm not a programmer, but I know exactly what needs building and why. Sen Focus is a product I designed and put together with AI, out of my own everyday needs — so nothing slips just because it was buried in a chat.

Why I made it run entirely on your computer. Your messages are your business. Mine are too — so from day one I chose to have Sen read and process everything right on your computer, never sending your chat history to any server of mine. I built Sen as a tool I wanted to use myself, not a funnel for data. That's a line I won't cross.

I put my real name and face here, because software that's allowed to read your messages should at least tell you who made it.

Why the warning? Sen isn't signed with a developer certificate yet (that comes once Sen is bigger). The warning doesn't mean there's a virus: Sen runs entirely on your computer and doesn't send your chat history to Sen's servers.

What is Sen Focus?
Sen Focus is an assistant that runs right on your computer. It reads your chats, pulls out the tasks that are yours, and lays them out neatly as Kanban, List and Calendar — so nothing slips just because it was buried in a chat.
Does Sen send my messages online?
Sen doesn't send your chat history to any Sen server — all reading and processing happens on your computer. The AI step uses your own API key (Google Gemini by default): the chat that needs analyzing goes straight from your computer to the AI provider, with nothing from Sen in between. To be upfront: with a free Gemini key, under Google's terms, what you send may be used to improve Google's products and may be read by human reviewers. For more privacy, switch to Paid mode in Settings (paid Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic). What Sen sends and where: see and check it yourself (in Vietnamese).
Which chat apps can Sen read?
Right now: Zalo, Telegram, WhatsApp and Signal. More apps are on the way.
Is Sen made by or affiliated with Zalo?
No. Sen Focus (Sen Universal Plugger) is an independent product, not developed or endorsed by Zalo/VNG. "Zalo" is a trademark of its owner, mentioned only to describe compatibility.
Which computers can Sen run on?
macOS (Apple Silicon, macOS 12 or later) and Windows 10/11. For now the installers are released through the Telegram channel, with setup instructions.
Why does a Sen account work on only one computer?
Because your chats and tasks live only on your computer, there is no copy on Sen's servers for a second computer to download. A Sen account is a license, not a data store — so it is tied to one computer. You can still move to a new computer (up to 2 times in 12 months): back up on the old one, restore on the new one. Does Sen need the internet?
Yes. Sen needs the internet to scan chats, run AI and verify your plan. Your messages stay on your computer and are never sent to Sen's servers. If you are offline for more than 48 hours, Sen pauses scanning, but you can still view your existing tasks.
Why does my computer show a warning the first time I open Sen? Is it safe?
Sen isn't signed with a developer certificate from Apple or Microsoft yet, so the first time you open it your computer asks for confirmation. The warning doesn't mean there's a virus: Sen runs entirely on your computer and doesn't send your chat history to Sen's servers. How to open it:
Mac: open Sen once (you'll be told it can't be opened) → System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll to the bottom and click Open Anyway.
Windows: on the blue "Windows protected your PC" screen, click More info → Run anyway.
Every release in the Telegram channel comes with a SHA-256 checksum so you can verify the file yourself.
How does Sen pull out tasks?
With AI, using your own API key. The default is Google Gemini (it has a free quota); in Paid mode you can pick paid Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic. Sen picks out the task, who asked for it, the due date and the source chat, then sorts it into Kanban/List/Calendar.
Can Sen miss tasks?
It can. Sen reads chats with AI: it catches clearly assigned tasks well, but tasks that are vaguely worded or sit in images or voice messages can slip through. After each scan, Sen shows how many messages it read; if something is missing, click "Did Sen miss a task?" to add it and link it to the original conversation — Sen records it to improve how it scans.
What happens when the trial ends?
Sen moves to the Free plan — the app stays open. Your tasks, messages and projects are all kept; a few things pause (a second chat channel, Overview…) until you pick a plan. Sen shows a before / after table so you see exactly what stays and what pauses.
Does Sen cost money? Can I try it?
Yes — Free is free forever, no card needed. For more chat apps and features, pick Plus, Pro or Max, paid monthly or yearly. Want to try first? Start the 30-day Max trial right in the app — once per account.
How do I pay or renew my license?
Right in the app: Settings → License, pick Plus, Pro or Max (monthly or yearly) and click buy. The app shows a QR code with the amount and reference already filled in — open any banking app, scan and transfer. No need to message anyone or send a receipt: the days are added to your plan automatically within minutes. Upgrade mid-term and your remaining days are converted to the new plan. Payment is by Vietnamese bank transfer only for now — need another way? Message Sen on Telegram.
