Privacy Policy

Not affiliated with Zalo. Sen Universal Plugger is an independent product, not developed, sponsored or endorsed by Zalo/VNG. "Zalo" is a trademark of its respective owner, mentioned only to describe compatibility.

1Core principle: your data stays on your computer

Sen Universal Plugger is designed to read the messages you're viewing on Zalo Web and pass them to the Sen Focus app running on your own computer (over a local localhost connection), to extract tasks.

We do NOT have a cloud server that collects your data. The Extension does not send message content, contacts or any personal data to our servers or to any third party.
All data moves only between your browser and the Sen Focus app on your own computer.

2Data the Extension accesses and processes

Only when you open chat.zalo.me does the Extension process the following data on your computer:

Message content currently displayed: message text, sender names, timestamps and message types (text, image, file, sticker…) of the chat you have open. The Extension reads passively from the page; it does not scroll automatically, simulate actions, or access messages you haven't opened.
Zalo account identifier (anonymized): the Extension reads an identifier from the Zalo page's local storage (localStorage) and immediately hashes it into an anonymous "fingerprint" before it leaves the page. The Sen Focus app only receives this fingerprint, to tell whether you've switched accounts — the Extension does not store or send your real Zalo ID.
Chat avatars: avatar image addresses (only from Zalo's image servers) so the app can show the right chat icon.

The Extension does NOT:

Does not read your cookies, passwords or session information.
Does not collect browsing history, autofill data, or data from any website other than chat.zalo.me.
Contains no remotely loaded or executed code; no ad tracking; no behavioral analytics.

3Data stored in the browser

The Extension stores a small amount of data in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local), only on your computer:

Pairing code (pairing token): for a secure handshake with the local Sen Focus app.
User name map: maps sender IDs ↔ display names so sender names show correctly in group chats.
Port cache for connecting to the Sen Focus app.

You can delete all of this data at any time by uninstalling the Extension.

4How data is used

The data in Sections 2–3 is used for one purpose only: passing messages to your own local Sen Focus app to extract and manage tasks. It is not used for anything else.

5Data sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your data with any third party.
There is no server of ours in the data flow.
About AI analysis: analyzing content to extract tasks (if you turn it on) is done by the Sen Focus app on your computer, which calls the AI provider you configure directly — not through the Extension and not through our servers. That processing follows the privacy policies of the Sen Focus app and of the AI provider you choose.

6Storage and deletion

Extension data is stored locally (in your browser and in the Sen Focus app on your computer). There are no copies in our cloud.
You're fully in control of deletion: remove the Extension, or delete the data in the Sen Focus app.

7Permissions the Extension requests (and why)

storage: to store the pairing code, name map and port cache locally (Section 3).
Access to *://chat.zalo.me/*: to passively read the messages you're viewing on Zalo Web (Section 2). The Extension works only on this site.
Connection to the local app (localhost): to pass data to the Sen Focus app on your own computer, protected by the pairing code.

8Security

The bridge to the local app is protected by a pairing code (token); you can generate a new code at any time to revoke the old connection.
The Extension does not read your sign-in details and does not transmit data off your computer.

9Children's privacy

Sen Universal Plugger is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children's data.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
